What we collect when you complete a form, how we use it and whom we share it with. In plain language.

What we collect.

Only the information you ask us to collect: what you enter in a form. The short form asks for limited information. The capital application asks for more; the details and reasons are below.

The short form

When you submit a website form, we receive your name, business name, phone number, your email if you choose to provide it, and a description of what you want to accomplish. If you use the partner form, we also receive the partner type.

The capital application

The capital application is a document you sign so that we can present your business to financing providers. It therefore asks for information those providers require to evaluate a request: how much capital you seek and why, monthly sales and active financing; the business’s legal and trade names, EIN, legal structure, industry, start date, address and contact information; and, for each owner with a significant interest, the owner’s name, home address, phone numbers, ownership percentage, Social Security number and date of birth.

Social Security numbers and dates of birth receive separate handling. They travel over an encrypted connection and are stored in encrypted form with a key that is not kept on the server. rédito keeps the key offline. These details do not appear in emails sent to you or in internal email notices. They are decrypted only when presenting your case to a provider. If encryption is unavailable, the system discards the information instead of saving it without protection.

When you sign an application, we also retain the signature record: the name entered, date and time, IP address, browser used to sign and the authorizations selected. This record supports the electronic signature and is why we keep it.

With your authorization, rédito and financing providers may also obtain personal and business credit reports and request bank and processing statements. This information becomes part of the file even when you did not enter it in the form.

Technical data

For both forms, we retain three technical details: the page from which you submitted, the date and time and your IP address. We use the IP address to limit automated submissions and prevent form abuse.

Advertising and measurement

This site uses the Meta pixel for Facebook and Instagram. It helps measure how many people complete a form after seeing an ad and helps show ads to people similar to those who have contacted us.

Meta stores cookies in your browser and receives information about your visit, including pages viewed and whether you submitted a form. If you arrived from an ad, it also receives that click identifier.

When you submit a form, we send Meta your email, phone number and name converted into an irreversible SHA-256 code. Meta compares the code with its records to determine whether you saw an ad. Meta does not receive your email or phone number as readable text. We never send Meta the contents of an open form field or any financial information.

How to prevent this. An ad blocker will stop it, as will “Ask Apps Not to Track” on iPhone or “Do Not Track” in your browser. You can also control Meta’s use of information through your Facebook or Instagram settings. Blocking it does not affect your inquiry; the form continues to work and we still receive your message.

We do not use other trackers: no Google Analytics, TikTok, LinkedIn or others. We do not sell or rent your information.

How we use it.

To respond and help you explore capital options. Nothing more.

We use your information to communicate about your inquiry, understand what your business needs and present your case to financing providers when that is what you request.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, provide it for third-party advertising or subscribe you to marketing lists you did not request.

Whom we share it with.

Financing providers, and only when you ask us to explore options.

rédito is not a bank or lender. Our role is to connect your business with financing providers. To obtain options for you, we share the information in your inquiry with those providers. This is an essential part of the service; without it, there are no options to present.

Each provider handles your information under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. We will tell you whom we are speaking with before you proceed with a formal application.

About credit inquiries: most providers begin with a review that does not affect your score. Some later conduct a formal inquiry that appears on your report. We will tell you before that occurs.

Your information also passes through the infrastructure providers that operate the business: Google Workspace for email and Hostinger for website hosting. We may also disclose it when required by law.

Where it is kept and for how long.

In our email and a server backup for as long as the relationship requires it.

Your inquiry reaches our email and is also stored in a backup file outside the site’s public area so it is not lost if email fails. Data is stored on servers in the United States and Europe.

A capital application file is kept in a server directory outside the public area, with permissions that restrict it to the account. Social Security numbers and dates of birth are encrypted within the file.

We retain information while it is useful for serving you or while applicable law requires it. We delete it when it is no longer needed. If you ask us to delete it earlier, we do so. A signed application is an exception: the application and its signature record are retained even if the case does not proceed because they document what you authorized and when. If you ask us to delete the file, we immediately remove the Social Security number and date of birth and retain only that record.

Your rights.

You may ask to see, correct or delete the information we have about you.

Write to us and we will tell you what information we have, correct it if it is wrong or delete it. You may ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

If we have already shared your case with a financing provider, you must also contact that provider to exercise your rights with it.

For any of these requests, email hola@getredito.com.

Minors and changes.

This site is intended for businesses and people age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top. Changes apply when published.
