Preparation

What documents to prepare for business financing

A practical checklist for organizing business information, revenue, obligations and use of funds without sharing sensitive files too early.

The starting point

Build an organized folder; confirm the document list and delivery channel before sharing it.

Separate an initial inquiry from an evaluation

To start with rédito, you share contact details and business context. A later evaluation may require documents depending on the product and provider. This checklist helps you prepare; it is neither a universal requirement list nor a request to submit documents.

Organize four groups of information

  • Business identity: legal name, trade name, address and relevant registration information.
  • Financial activity: recent business bank statements, sales reports and available financial statements.
  • Obligations: balances, payments, frequency and maturity dates for existing financing.
  • Use of funds: quotes, a project budget or the inventory you plan to buy.

A provider may request tax returns, owner identification or other records. Confirm the periods and format before collecting or sending everything.

Check consistency and explain differences

Check that business names and dates match across files. Distinguish sales from transfers, loans and owner contributions. If sales reports differ from deposits, prepare an explanation: credit sales, batched deposits or processor fees may account for the difference.

A folder that is easy to review

Use names such as “Business-statement-July-2026” and “Equipment-quote”. Keep complete original files. Do not change figures or remove pages to make the profile look different.

Share only when you know the recipient

Before sending files, confirm who will receive them, how they will be used and the agreed delivery channel. Do not enter Social Security numbers, bank passwords or full account numbers into open text fields on the website.

If a document is missing, say so. Explaining what is available and what is pending helps organize the next step. A complete folder can support review, but it does not ensure approval or a response time.
